Wellcare of Illinois Ascension Complete Provider Relations Transition

We are pleased to announce effective July 1, 2023, the provider relations responsibilities for Ascension Complete, a Medicare Advantage product, will transition to our Wellcare of Illinois Provider Relations team.

Strong provider relationships are critical to our success in managing total cost of care and the quality of care that our members receive. Our Provider Network Support Specialists are the liaisons who maintain those relationships while educating and resolving operational issues providers may encounter.

We are committed to improving communication, education, and operational efficiencies to optimize engagement with our providers to maximize network performance.

The Provider Relations team has territory assignments by region and your assigned provider relations representative will contact you with more details. Providers also have access to centralized regional email mailboxes to submit issues. For provider roster updates, please email our Illinois roster team at, ilrostersubmission@mhplan.com.

Starting July 1, please use the email addresses listed below for inquiries if you do not have an assigned Provider Network Support Specialist.

Regional mailboxes are managed and monitored daily by our dedicated Provider Relations team. This process allows us to support your needs more efficiently. A Provider Relation’s team member will respond to your inquiry within 48-72 hours.

When sending inquiries to a mailbox, please include the following information:

  • Individual and group practice name
  • Rendering/billing NPI number
  • Line of business
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Claim number
  • Date of service
  • Member name
  • Member ID
  • Billed amount
  • Allowed amount
  • Paid amount
  • Date paid or not paid
  • Detailed description of the inquiry and how we can assist in resolution
